Particularly, Lisa has just started music show promotions for her solo debut Lalisa on Inkigayo. Despite being nominated for the No.1 position, unfortunately, the female idol failed to win the trophy.
In the music show results, the smash h̾i̾t ̾ Traffic Light by Lee Mujin surpäṩṩed Lalisa and Next Level by aespa to take home the No.1 trophy.
Let me get this straight, Lisa was defeated at Inkigayo because she had a much lower digital score than Lee Mujin: Lalisa scored 473 points, but Traffic Light won 5500 points, while this factor accounts for 55% of the total score.
However, this result didn’t sit well with Lisa’s fans. They took out their anger on the winner, saying that “Lisa is a famous singer all over the world, who is this person?”
More seriously, the MV Traffic Light by Lee Mujin, which was originally released back in May, was suddenly added with tons of malicious comments.
To make things worse, some of the comments even claimed Lisa couldn’t win because ̾“k̾o̾r̾e̾ans are r.a.c.i.s.t.s”, “̾k̾o̾r̾e̾ans don’t deserve Lisa”, “These will go to hell. I was so disappointed. They won’t look at Lisa because she’s Thai”, “Because of rαcιsm, Kpop is ruined”.
Meanwhile, the majority of South kσrєαn netizens criticized those extreme fans for taking such rude actions. They stated that Lee Mujin totally deserves No.1, and Lisa is so charming but her song, Lalisa, was indeed boring.
Some netizens even expressed that they did not understand the meaning of the whole song of Lisa because it included 3 languages: English, Thai, and kσrєαn. On the contrary, they were more attracted by “Traffic Light” whose lyrics are very refreshing but also deep.
“That’s the real art in contrast to vain and abstract fake play” – someone commented.
Maybe you don’t know but before surpαssing Lisa to take first place at Inkigayo, Lee Mujin has already won twice with “Traffic Light”.
It means that the song is widely appreciated in South kσrєα and his No.1 in Inkigayo is very convincing.
Well, it’s understandable when you want the best for your bias, but people will respect you better if you can support your idol more properly in a fair way.
